Last week we added new discounts to legal invoices to Easy Legal Billing …this week we’re at it again! We have brought our new reporting feature out of BETA and into the wild! The reporting allows for quick and simple reporting for the following topics:
- Invoices by client
- Invoices by matter
- Billing by timekeeper
Each of these reports are also run for a monthly time frame.
So how do you use these reports, you may ask? The answer is simple. Login to your account and visit the dashboard. On the right hand side you will see a “Reports” link.
Click on that link and you will be send to the reports section. Once you are inside the report viewer, a few options exist to help you create the exact report for your needs. Firstly, a dropdown box exists for choosing which report you’d like to run.
Once you have selected the proper report, choose the date range that you’d like to see reporting on.
Once you have your start and end date selected, click on the filter button to the right. You should now see the data for the date range you are looking for! In order to export the data by print, or by spreadsheet, two additional options exist. The “print” button will start the printing process for you, and the “download as excel” will generate a spreadsheet for you.
And now you should have your report data in hand (or on a drive)! So start your analysis and breakdown of the results. We are always looking to enhance and improve upon our offerings, so if you have any other additional reports that you’d like to create, let us know!
